3 AImigo S1E6 Materials: How to Keep Up with AI Changes Without Draining Your Energy (Category #AI)
The materials for the sixth episode of 3 AImigo, released on September 18, 2026, are ready. Evgeny Sergeev, Aleksey Litvinov, and I discussed how to stay informed about AI when reading every update, testing new models, and having a life all compete for the same hours.
Agents can compile a digest, build a study plan, and remind you to get started. They do not automatically give you the energy to work through it. That gap brought together three quite different approaches to learning and handling information.
We discussed
- Choosing what to follow. Evgeny starts with personal goals and weekly planning. I use a technology radar: read now, monitor, or stop following. I also ask for material that broadens my understanding rather than simply confirming what I already think. - When switching off a digest helps. Aleksey stopped reading his automated feed and turned it off. Client work, professional contacts, and his own experiments give him topics to explore. This is his way of selecting information, not a prescription for everyone. - Where an AI tutor's help ends. We looked at my learning program, which moves from data-center infrastructure to models and platforms. Preparing theory and exercises can be quick; working through them still means asking questions, trying things yourself, and adjusting the workload to your energy. - Why leave time without incoming information. A hand-drawn diagram, notes in your own words, or preparing a talk can help you process material. In the hosts' experience, a walk or a run without a podcast can also clear some mental space. Not every spare minute has to contain another lecture :) - Telling progress from busyness. Evgeny keeps an evening diary: did the day move him toward his chosen goal? He also acknowledges that agents let him start more parallel processes than he has energy to supervise. Being able to launch another task and having attention available for it are different things.
We compared personal practices and their limitations. The fear of falling behind does not disappear on command, but a clear direction helps you decide what to learn now and what you can comfortably skip.

How do you choose what to study and what to skip? And what tells you that you have actually learned something, beyond getting through another digest?
