General provisions

This Policy applies to polomodov.tech and describes how Alexander Polomodov (the “Controller”) processes visitor data. Web analytics is enabled by default: analytics-storage consent is set when the page loads, and the analytics container connects after the first interaction or shortly after the page finishes loading. Visitors can disable further collection on this page; some site features become unavailable after analytics is disabled.

The site is an informational resource: it has no registration, user account, payment form, or embedded contact-data collection form.

Data processed

When you visit the site, the following may be processed: IP address, cookies and other browser identifiers, browser, operating-system and device information, the URL and title of the page visited, referrer, visit date and time, viewing duration, and on-page interactions.

Yandex Metrica with Session Replay may record a representation of interface interactions, including navigation, clicks, and scrolling. The site is not intended to process special-category or biometric personal data.

If a visitor sends an email, the Controller receives the sender’s address, name, message contents, and any other information voluntarily provided.

Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by the browser. The site and connected services may use them for technical operation, audience measurement, and analysis of how materials are used.

In addition to cookies, the site uses localStorage to remember the analytics choice and sessionStorage for one-time presentation-navigation hints and safe recovery after a deployment update. These records remain on the visitor’s device and are not a standalone profiling system.

Purposes of processing

  • operating and securing the site;
  • remembering language and selected interface state;
  • measuring audience and traffic;
  • finding technical errors and improving content and interface;
  • replying to voluntarily submitted work enquiries.

Connected services

Services are connected through Google Tag Manager. The specific analytics tags may change, and the current list must be kept in sync with this Policy.

  • Google Tag Manager. The container loads after the visitor’s first interaction or shortly after the page finishes loading, unless the visitor has previously disabled web analytics; this site does not use Google Analytics. Google’s terms are described in the Google Privacy Policy and cookie documentation.
  • Яндекс Метрика / Yandex Metrica. Includes Session Replay. See the Yandex Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • YouTube. Some pages contain thumbnails and videos embedded in privacy-enhanced mode. The image server may receive technical data when a thumbnail enters the viewport; the player itself loads after activation under the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare. The live-stream status Worker may receive technical data when pages with the live indicator poll for status; this polling is disabled on slide decks.
  • Apple Podcasts и Mave. Selected round-table pages use an Apple Podcasts embed and Mave audio files; the services receive ordinary request metadata when those resources load.
  • GitHub Pages. GitHub provides the site’s static hosting and processes request metadata under its own terms.

Connected companies process the data they receive under their own terms and may use infrastructure in other countries. The Controller does not sell visitor data.

Method and retention

Technical data is processed automatically. Cookies and browser-storage records remain until their configured expiry or until the visitor deletes them. Analytics retention is determined by the settings and policies of the relevant services.

Data from work enquiries is retained until the correspondence and enquiry are complete, or until consent is withdrawn, unless a longer period is needed to protect legitimate interests or meet legal requirements.

Controls and visitor rights

The control below disables or re-enables web analytics in this browser. After analytics is disabled and the page reloads, Google Tag Manager and the analytics services connected through it do not load. Features that depend on analytics cookies and related integrations stop working; core content remains available.

Current status

Web analytics is enabled by default; the container loads after your first interaction or shortly after the page finishes loading.

If analytics is disabled, features that depend on Google Tag Manager, analytics cookies, and related integrations will stop working. The site’s core content will remain available.

The preference is saved in this browser; the page reloads automatically after a change.

Visitors can also restrict cookies in browser settings or delete cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage. To request information about processing, correct or delete data, or withdraw consent, email [email protected]. Withdrawal applies to future processing unless the Controller has another legal basis for continuing it.

Security and policy updates

The Controller takes reasonable organizational and technical measures to limit unauthorized access to data. This Policy may be updated when the site, connected services, or applicable requirements change. A new version takes effect when published on this page.

The English text is a translation. If the two versions differ, the Russian version prevails.
