Baidu. How a Chinese search engine beat Google with artificial intelligence (Artifical Intelligence Revolution. How AI Will Change our Society, Economy, and Culture)
I read this book in a few days. 2017 About Baidu by Robin Lee, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. I can say that it raises an interesting topic, but the translation into Russian is simply terrible. I don’t know exactly what the problem is, but it seems that the Chinese translator is not a technical person at all, so all scientific, it-sh and ml-th topics here are translated so that you will understand what it is about, if you already know about it:) As a result, it makes sense to read this book if you do it in the original or at least in translation into English. This is the book by Terrence Sajnowski. Anthology of machine learning (The Deep Learning Revolution) on 2 It is more easily and interestingly translated.
Now let’s run a little through the content of the book, which shows how much emphasis on Chinese culture, current approach and plans to become a leader in AI. Preface 1. Baidu's intelligence. Technical features Artificial intelligence is challenging itself. Here, the authors talk about learning with a teacher, without a teacher, and then go to generative-adversarial networks and ways of teaching them, as well as comparisons with other ml approaches. 10. Immerse yourself in the intellectual age.. Here, the author describes a futuristic view of people’s lives in the future after the widespread introduction of AI. 11.
