We at T-Bank are actively working on the creation of AI ecosystem Tools for our developers that help us create products for customers more efficiently. We talk a lot about this developer conference, and in Friday's mega-conference. BigTechNight The whole T-Bank track was devoted to this topic. And it was on Friday that my colleague Stanislav Moiseyev spoke about measuring productivity at the level of a person/team/company/industry. And if the first three levels we can measure, the last requires a separate approach. And Stas announced the start of a large study of AI in the engineering culture of Russian companies.

We decided to conduct this survey in order to Get up-to-date data on how AI solutions are used in Russia. So far, there is information only about international practices, but this is almost inapplicable to the Russian market.

  • Separate hype from the real effect. Many companies are experimenting with AI, but it’s not always clear whether it helps improve productivity and quality. The study will help to measure real results. Understand how AI affects business outcomes. For example, user experience and employee retention;
  • Help companies and engineers. Companies need to understand where they are in the context of the market and what AI solutions really work, and engineers need to assess how their experience matches that of their colleagues.

We expect to participate in the survey. Engineers and technicians: developers, DevOps/SRE, data engineers, QA engineers, ML and AI specialists; Technical leads and managers: team leaders, Engineering Managers, development team leaders; Executives and top managers: CTO, Heads of Engineering, product directors.

If you want to participate in the survey, here reference pass (approximately, the survey takes half an hour)The survey itself will end at the end of November, and we will share the results in late January or early February next year. The output will be a large report + description of the methodology, which is based on the DORA approach. (I have described this approach in detail and more than once: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

P.S. I am responsible for the methodology of this study and summarizing the results, so I am very interested in the large scope of the study. And if you not only pass the survey itself, but also post a link to your friends and colleagues, then I will be very grateful to you.
