The Man from the Future: First Impressions

I started reading The Man from the Future, a book about John von Neumann, yesterday evening. I have already read a third of it, and it is simply excellent—I love biographies of scientists, I enjoy mathematics and quantum physics, and history as well... This book has all of that in abundance. I think I will finish it today or tomorrow and tell you more about it, but I can already recommend it to anyone interested.

P.S. The architecture of a conventional computer with a CPU is called the von Neumann architecture—John was a remarkably versatile person who influenced computer science / software engineering as well :)
