Churchill. Biography in comics ("Ils ont fait l’histoire: Churchill, volume 1" and "Ils ont fait l'histoire: Churchill, volume 2")
I finished reading today the biography of Churchill in comics, which was written by a quartet of authors: Delma Vincensen, Kersody François, Renaud Christoph, Cammardella Alessio. In the original, this biography consists of two parts:
- Churchill's Life Before World War II
- His actions during her In the Russian edition, these volumes are combined into one book that tells the story of Winston’s life, which is interesting in itself, and decorated in the style of a comic book it is read in one breath. The book is about childhood and adolescence, when he did not always meet the expectations of his parents graduating from military school and being sent to hot spots on the periphery of the British Empire, where he was often both a junior officer and journalist. Return to England, political career and its development before the First World War Participation in the war, first as First Lord of the Admiralty, and then after the Dardanelles operation, resignation from the post and participation in the war as a lieutenant colonel. Before World War II, he was an active critic of appeasement of Hitler, but was in opposition to the then political course. During World War II, he was called to lead the government and did it very effectively.
By the way, half of this comic book is devoted to the period of the Second World War:)
