Code of Leadership 1 - Team topologies

Last night I recorded the first episode of my personal Code of Leadership project. Each episode focuses on one book on engineering management. In each episode there is a guest expert who can offer his favorite book on management for discussion. The episode usually lasts an hour and a half and can be accompanied by schemes from the book or be purely in the colloquial genre.

To start this project, I chose Team Topologies and invited her to discuss Stas Chalupa, a friend of mine with whom we worked for several years. Stas has been a technical product manager and head of platform product development for many years, so I really wanted to discuss this book with him about team topology, where the big focus was on stream-aligned and platform teams. As a result, the release turned out to be excellent - we were able to praise the book and criticize it on the case, as well as throw out interesting ideas to expand the applicability of the model itself, for example, towards shift-left security and secure by design. (proposal by Stas) or data and data mesh (suggestion). Now it remains only to mount what happened and put in this channel:)
