I finished reading Architectural Houses: City Lofts, which I bought for a joint review with my son - he loves architecture and buildings, although mostly tall. In this book, I liked the fact that for each loft there are descriptions of parameters.

  • occupants' wishes (functional requirements) What was the original house and what was it made of? (Non-functional requirements and limitations)
  • how the architect beat it. (Key Solutions and Tradeoffs)
  • floor schemes and photographs (Information on the final implementation of the project)

P.S. My son found the book boring, but I didn't.)
