This is our Moscow. (Category Culture)
Yesterday, my wife and I were planning to take a walk around Moscow and, choosing a place, we remembered this book by Victoria Novoselskaya. The book itself was bought by me on occasion for having a beautiful cover and the subtitle "Stories of a City You Can't Not Fall In Love With." Yesterday we found this book in our library, because the system of its organization does not involve maintaining a library catalog:) And after she was found, I couldn't stop reading it. 112 pages 42 individual stories. Both numbers are interesting, one is a number for use in emergency situations, and the other is in general. The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and all that." If you delve a little deeper into the content, then these are personal stories of people about different parts of Moscow, which are significant for them. Each story is filled with vivid impressions and is accompanied by a brief historical reference about the place about which the author tells. And after reading the book, there was some warm feeling in the chest and a many-voiced aftertaste after a good box of Assorti candy, each of which was special, but in general they gave a harmonious bouquet of tastes:)
P.S. By the way, I also had my acquaintance with Moscow. 10 years ago. By then, I was already. 10 years as long as he lived (it 4 mile)But Moscow did not know or aspire. But that changed when I bought myself a professional camera and started taking pictures of the city in the evening. I learned more about Moscow in a year than in a year. 10 For me, the map of Moscow turned from metro points into pedestrian paths and the city expanded in my mind and acquired volume. I kept shooting until 2019 But since then, the camera has been lying in my nightstand and waiting for its time. You can look at my pictures. My 500px page..
P.P.S. In the end, we successfully chose the route. This is the third book I have read on this holiday:)
