Generative AI Overview for Project Managers
I found interesting documents on the PMI website, which were devoted to the introduction to ChatGPT for project managers. They consisted of two documents. (put them on post)

In the first, the guys talked about tools that are useful for project managers, among which the following are interesting:
- For planning: plugin "Show Me Diagrams" in GPTStore - can help draw Gantt charts and network diagrams, visualize progress
- For prototyping: Autodesk Fusion 360, Catia, Ansys Discovery
- For time and cost management: Smartsheet To monitor and track the movement of the project: pluginWebPilot" in the GPTStore
- For management risk: "ChatGPT AI Assistant for Jira" For workflow management and automation: ClickUp To generate code, texts and images: MidJourney, Azure AI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google Bard, ChatGPT by OpenAI
The second document shows examples of proms that can be useful to managers, for example: Conduct cost-management analysis of the project and help make a decision Help describe the business case and convince stakeholders about the start of the loyalty project
- Create a charter for the project (project charter)
- Processing the spread of work on the project (scope creep) using traceability matrix
- Conduct calculations within EVM (Earned Value Management) and so on
I found it interesting that the usually sluggish institute has released quite relevant documents on AI, which allow to increase the efficiency of project managers, removing from them part of the routine work and shifting to bots:)
