Mr. Tiger, Betsy and the Blue Moon (Mr Tiger, Betsy and the Blue Moon)

#ForKids #Tales

This children's book, written by Sally Gardner from Sussex, really appealed to my middle son. We read it before going to bed and met with colorful characters: with a little girl Betsy, her father and mother, who live separately, as dad is a person and mom is a mermaid. With the colorful Mr. Tiger, who walks in a fur coat, his own production, and who runs the circus, where the gongalongs perform. (lilliput). With a toad that's not a toad at all, but a princess that her half-sister turned into a toad. But I won’t reveal all the cards, otherwise you won’t be interested in reading this story to your children. My son and I really liked the presentation of the story – the author knows how to weave words into a web of meanings that exist on different levels. To children, the story seems simple and understandable, and parents simultaneously catch additional references and metaphors. Plus, there are beautiful illustrations in this book that add volume to the characters and the story and feel like you can feel them:)

P.S. I recommend this book for children to read at night. She's eating now. nice discount in the maze
