Six years ago, I passed. course I can tell you right away that he’s in the middle of his grade. 4.8 from 5as indicated on the platform:) The course itself tells about the basic concepts and theorems of probability theory and contains many practical tasks for independent solution. The course consists of two parts of two modules each: The first part is devoted to the classical version of the theorver, where elementary methods and proofs are used. The modules within the first part are called "Elementary Probability Theory: Random Events" and "Elementary Probability Theory: Random Values." The second part contains more complex material. The third module is called General Probability Theory and contains an axiomatic approach to probability theory and a rigorous presentation of the general theory. This is the most interesting and complex module. The fourth module, Discrete and Continuous Random Values, contains a discussion of particular cases that, after a general theory, seem simple and understandable:)

As a result, the course seems to me useful for obtaining basic knowledge of probability theory, which is necessary in everyday life, for example, to understand how the reliability of a system consisting of a bunch of services is considered, if each service has its own SLA in terms of availability and all of them are necessary for the performance of the top-level system:) This is the type of question I wanted to add to the screening of SRE engineers:)

P.S. I’ve loved the book since high school, and it started when I was in school. 10 I went to Moscow to see Moscow State University and MIPT to decide where I would go from my Severodvinsk:) Eventually, I came back with a set of books that had a theorver book that I liked, but the cover of which I couldn't find later on Google, to find out the title of that book and re-read it over the years.
