An autobiographical comic book by Julie Doucet that made her famous and brought her fame as the best Montreal comic book author. The comic tells about her education at the art college in Montreal, after which she goes to New York, which gave the title to the comic. Initially, it is stated that she went to the Big Apple to be closer to the American comics community, but from the comic book it seems that in order to just waste his time for alcohol, drugs and a guy-loser.
