There were a lot of interesting reports on the SouthHub camp, but Igor Kurochkin’s report came directly to me.
The report is entitledWhat CTO can take advantage of DevOpsPerhaps this is due to the fact that I am a CTO and this topic responds to me, or maybe Igor just coolly told ... or both:) In general, the point is that this report considers the standard problems of the organization of development and operation processes, considers the approach of different companies to solve these problems. Google - separate SWE and SRE and the specifics between them (SLA, SLO, SLI, Error Budget, ...) Amazon - shared commands with operation, "you build it, you run it" approach Netflix is a full cycle developer, teams are similar to Amazon. All of these approaches relied on platform teams... and sequel is better. See in the report itself. Separately, I asked Igor to write a text transcript in the form of an article and it will one day be:)
