The book by Jez Humble and David Farley was published in the distant 2010 I had some very interesting thoughts at the time. I read it for the first time. 2017 By that time, it was hopelessly outdated and captain. Right now. 2023 It is worth buying it only if you like to visit second-hand stores:) If you recall my impressions from the first reading, I can note that the quality of each chapter of the book varies from the level of "you can read on the road" to "really worth reading", but they are combined into one book.) The authors declare that the reader can read chapters selectively, which is true. However, the degree of duplication of information between the chapters is such that you catch déjà vu so often that you feel that you are being told the same thoughts in a circle for the fifth time:)

P.S. Separately, I will note the translation into Russian - it is incendiary, for example, for the first time I see the main branch in vcs called the highway, and then the quote: "Regularly register changes on the highway ..."
