Lifting the Veil on Meta's Microservice Architecture: Analyses of Topology and Request Workflows
In mid-July came out interesting article Microservice architecture from the company, making it the largest social network. The article was written by Darby Huye. (Tufts University, Meta), Yuri Shkuro (Meta) and Raja R. Sambasivan (Tufts University) And they focused on the underappreciated characteristics of microservice architecture that are important for building microservice tools and modeling microservice topologies. They end up talking about what that architecture and topology looks like inside a Bigtech company. In the document itself 15 pages divided into 8 parts presented below. By the way, in the references section are presented 46 articles, some of which overlap well with the topic of this article (especially two articles on microservices architecture analysis by ByteDance and Alibaba).
