A CTO's First 90 Days Begin Before the First Day at Work — Management 360 (#Management)

Today at 19:35 I will speak at Stratoplan's “Management 360” about the first 90 days of a CTO. I will begin with a small reversal: the first day at work is already the midpoint of the transition. The talk will cover the entire route:

- How to choose the assignment rather than an impressive title; - Why authority, resources, and success criteria should be agreed before joining; - Why the first month is better spent building an accurate map of the company rather than assembling a portfolio of changes; - How to choose one or two systemic bets by day 90, show the first result, and avoid missing red flags.

This is not a universal checklist for “guaranteed success,” but a practical model: research → mutual contract → diagnosis → first changes. One more thing: the company is also on probation during these three months.
