Read it in a couple of days. book Maxim Kotin about the first start-up from Russia that conquered the world Very interesting story about Stepana Pacikova, a Soviet scientist, a janitor in the hostel of foreign translators, the creator of the first computer club "Computer", ..., Vice President of Silicon Graphics International and the creator of Evernote. The story about how this first computer club, created with the help of Garry Kasparov, became the place of attraction of all the early it’s employees of Moscow, who created their projects under the wing of ParaGrafa. Next, a contract with Apple for a recognition system for their Newton tablet, which was ahead of time, but never flew. The immigration of part of the team to the US and the further cool story that is worthy of film adaptation ... or reading.
In general, this is an interesting book in which famous characters of the Western it’s world appear, in which pioneers from the Soviet Union paved their way. True, the full happy end did not come, but Stepan did not give up and created Evernote, but that is another story.
