Understand Before Deciding: How I Learn New Topics with AI (#SelfDevelopment)

On November 9, I will speak at pmclub upskill week about how AI helps me understand unfamiliar topics deeply enough to make difficult decisions.

Dima Ilyenkov invited me to speak. We discussed his book “Ne uslozhnyay” (“Don’t Overcomplicate It”) on the podcast. We spent quite a while deciding what to share with the people at @pmclub, and eventually settled on how I explore unfamiliar subjects:

• map the topic;
• choose sources;
• check contradictions;
• turn what I have learned into decision criteria and small experiments.

We discussed a similar topic in episode six of the 3 AImigo podcast, “Staying Afloat in the Stream of AI Changes Without Burning Out”.
