Yesterday afternoon we were at a children's play. "Lukich" on the stage of "Melnikov". It was a new reading of Cipollino for children. 6+, but we took a four-year-old and nine-year-old son with us - both liked it. My wife and I also found the production interesting, since the humor was two-level - children laughed at the gags and the behavior of the characters, and adults at references to the surrounding reality or hints of romantic relationships of vegetables. The show itself was in two parts. In the first act, Prince Lemon and Knight Tomato seized power in the garden, with the rest of the vegetables wrestling with varying success. The second act begins with the fact that Lukich and other vegetables were behind bars, but Chereshenka, motivated by Strawberry, went to save them. In general, the production was avant-garde, included music, jokes and generally looked cheerful and dynamic. The main thing is that the children were delighted and had a great time, and the parents were not bored either.
