Continuation of Woke, Inc. or more about DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) (Category Management)
Previously, post I was talking about Vivek Ramaswamy's book Woke, Inc. And in this post, I wanted to talk a little bit more about DOGE, an advisory commission whose goal is to reduce bureaucracy, reduce inefficient spending, and simplify the work of the federal government. The Commission shall be chaired by 2 human Elon Musk is the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, known for his support of deregulation. Vivek Ramaswamy is an entrepreneur and former presidential candidate who advocates a policy of minimal state intervention.
The main objectives of the Commission are: Reduce federal spending by eliminating overlapping regulations and agencies. Reducing the number of federal staff, with a proposal to reduce it by 75%. Consolidation of federal agencies with more than 400 less 100. Advice on deregulation to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Commissioners say they assess the effect of 2A trillion dollars from the U.S. Federal Reserve. Reform of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)One of the key goals is to eliminate the cost of diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives. (DEI). This includes the elimination of relevant units in departments such as the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense.
- DOGE transparency: All activities will be covered online to ensure maximum transparency. This will allow citizens to monitor the progress of reforms in real time.
DOGE will work until 4 July 2026 year, which coincides with 250- the anniversary of the United States. Trump described that completion date as symbolic for the mission to quickly achieve efficiency. You won’t have to wait long to see what these gentlemen are up to:)
However, there are a number of problems on the way to the implementation of the planned DOGE does not have direct regulatory or executive powers, so its role is limited to providing guidance. Proposals to cut welfare programs or discretionary spending could face strong political resistance. Legal challenges may arise when trying to circumvent congressional approval to implement certain deregulation measures.
Ramaswamy compares the scope of these reforms to the Manhattan Project of World War II, highlighting their potential impact on the entire country. He believes that the main problem of the United States is the bloated bureaucracy that interferes with the effective management of the state. Thus, DOGE, led by Ramaswami and Musk, aims to radically transform the U.S. governance structure with a focus on cutting costs, simplifying processes and increasing government transparency.
