Time travel. History (Time Travel. A History)

This book by James Glick tells the story of the development of the concept of time and travel through it. It begins with Herbert our Wells with his machine going through the paradoxes of time travel and ending with our present as we live here and now in a virtual space where "a river of information forms a 'ribbon' or 'timeline' ... but the sequence of messages on this scale is arbitrary." Their chronological order can hardly be trusted. The past, the present, the future go round and round. In general, the book is interestingly written and contains a bunch of references to thinkers, poets, scientists, science fiction and even popular films such as Back to the Future and Groundhog Day. I have had the great pleasure of traveling through the pages of this book, gradually collecting a mosaic of time travel and different approaches to this topic throughout the known history of mankind:)
