The book perfectly addresses the paradoxical questions of physics. But the author begins with simple mathematical stories related to probability theory, namely the Monty Hall Paradox and the Birthday Paradox. The first one is interesting to me because I heard it for the first time in ten years from my chess coach, who periodically threw interesting tasks and manuals on the development of cognitive abilities. As far as I remember, as a child, it was difficult for me to understand the essence of this paradox, even with the coach’s explanations. As a result, I figured out already in high school, when I studied a little university textbooks on theorver:) Interestingly, the formulation of the Monty Hall paradox is simple, and most of my friends who first heard it answer the question incorrectly. I will give you the wording directly in the field. “Imagine that you were in a game where you had to choose one of three doors. There is a car behind one of the doors and goats behind the other two. You choose one of the doors, such as a number. 1After that, the host, who knows where the car is and where the goats are, opens one of the remaining doors. 3, behind which is a goat.
