ReDesisning Leadership (Redesigning leadership) (Category Leadership)
Yesterday, on my way from St. Petersburg to Moscow, I read the book ReDesisting Leadership, which was written by John Maeda with the help of Becky Bermont. He is widely known as a practicing designer and professor of design at MIT, and John wrote the best-selling book The Laws of Simplicity. John wrote the book about leadership redesign after he headed and directed the famous Rhode Island School of Design for several years. During this period, he had to turn from professor to leader, and this is what he talks about. 6 Chapters based on his thoughts on leadership, which he has generously shared on Twitter throughout his life:
- Start from here.
- Creator as leader
- Engineer as Leader
- Professor as leader
- Man as leader
- Thank you.
The book is quite compact and interesting, so in one and a half to two hours it can be easily swallowed, having tried the ideas of an engineer, designer, professor and leader:)
