Today I decided to recall the excellent science fiction book "Servants of Justice" authored by Anne Leckie.

This book is the debut novel of the author, who immediately received the Hugo, Nebula and Locus awards. Here’s why I think the book is great:

  • There's an interesting universe here.
  • The plot is interestingly twisted. The dynamics of events does not allow to break away from the book In general, it is very interesting to follow one segment of AI. This piece named Odin Esk, left over from the warship Justice of Thoren, unravels a story that is as old as the world as the IT world. And this is the problem of maintaining the state of distributed fault tolerance systems. If we briefly summarize the plot, we see a split-brain control-plein system with a superimposed over the problem of Byzantine generals ... And all of this on the scale of the Radcha galactic empire. As a result, this book is very good and it will be interesting to read it:)
