Today I decided to recall the book "Statistics and Seals" by Vladimir Savelyev, which is excellent in concept and content - the book describes complex things in very simple language:)

It seems that it is in this style that you need to make an introduction to statistics - I know that, because I studied theorver myself, at university discrete mathematics, theorver, matstats, mass-service theory, random processes and that's all. At university, these precepts did not go well, because I did not understand the applicability of the whole theory. Only years. 5-6 And then I realized why all this math, when it became clear that machine learning, deep machine learning, all this stuff, you can solve business problems. So I hooked up on courses with Coursera and Edx, and I passed the pieces. 7-8 I used to play with Python and R. I really liked the practical focus. But even in those courses, there wasn't as easy a description as in this introductory book on cats.

P.S. My paper book was married, and in order to read the whole book, I had to look for an electronic version. My paper copy of the book was missing. 16 pages, starting with 81 ending 96 inclusive. Instead of 16 pages are repeated duplicates of pages from 33 along 48 inclusive:) I was sad that such a cool book was published with such a frank marriage. I hope that I was the only one who was so “lucky” unrepresentative of the general population of fans of statistics books. In the end, the other book lovers got the full version of the book. By the way, the missing pages were a chapter. 9"How to make a cat happy or the basics of correlation analysis." As a result, I felt unhappy because I couldn’t learn from my book how to make a cat happy – I had to download the pdf and read this chapter there:)
