But foreign popularity to Shaolin came after the cult film 1982 year with Jet Lee. Then there was a whole bunch of other films, and then there was a franchise about panda kung fu, which not only could learn kung fu, but also reminded me personally of the Chinese version of Winnie the Pooh. Well, seriously, a walk around the temple with a tour and further hiking in the mountains was very interesting and allowed you to get in touch with the culture of China.
