Third time in the hospital (LifeStory Category)

Lately, I've started getting feedback that more stories from my life dilute the channel's dry content with books, whitepapers and my thoughts about work. I listened to this feedback and decided that now I will periodically write something from my life and today I have something to talk about. Yesterday I was in the hospital for the third time in my life, but the first two times I was there myself, and yesterday I was with my son. Actually, it's a long story. He had otitis in November, which we sort of cured. In early December, we went to the lore for snot and it became clear that we have bingo: otitis + inflamed adenoids. We decided to operate because we didn’t want to go sick on New Year’s Eve.

• After surgery, which was supposed to involve adenoid removal and ear surgery, he couldn't fly for a month.
• In the end, we almost broke vacation, but during the operation it turned out that the ear did not have to pierce - the water went away on its own.
• Removal of adenoids led to a ban on flying into 2 For weeks, which allowed us to fly to Sri Lanka, but the middle and eldest son had already outplayed their plans. When we were in Sri Lanka with our eldest son. (18 years) There were health problems - it turned out that in a week without treatment he brought himself to pneumonia. On Monday evening we flew to Moscow, on Tuesday I went to work, and on Tuesday evening my wife and youngest son were covered with illness. On Wednesday I decided to stay to work from home, but the doctors who came to the house diagnosed otitis in the baby, as well as the flu in my wife - the effects were such that both had a fever in the hospital. 38.5 degree My wife came to put an IV on the house, as the temperature with nurafen did not go down, and I and the baby went to the hospital in the evening, as the temperature was too high. In the hospital, the baby and I had a covid test - it turned out that he was not. Then the doctor took the temperature and said "forty-two", it turned out that it was 40.2. It turned out that the younger son collected a strike: otitis with fluid, inflamed mendalins and flu, but now it is clear how and what to treat - droppers were put and the temperature went down.

In the end, I made the following for myself. It is not necessary to delay with doctors and tests. If treatment does not go according to plan, even within one day, then it is worth taking measures. I don’t have a context for children – for all the questions about vaccinations, allergies and diseases, I asked my wife for a call and asked her, which shows my helplessness in family matters. My wife does a lot of things that are very important, but taken for granted, like taking care of the health of everyone in the family and only her illness shows what happens when she can’t do it.

Update The baby had a strike: otitis, flu, pneumonia. It's cool that we took him to the hospital on time - now the temperature is down, systematic treatment is underway.
