Yesterday I was one day in St. Petersburg and as part of a career week I spoke to students of St. Petersburg University from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.

There are three interesting departments at this faculty: mathematics, data science, modern programmingWhere you can do both basic mathematical research and software development, research on distributed systems or go towards Data Science:) Visiting SPbU reminded me of the times of studying at MIPT, when I was not a very diligent student, but spent days in classrooms in pairs:)
