Work! Best of Office Design (Category Architecture)
In recent years, I have been reading many books on design and architecture. (software engineering)I started putting them on my library shelves. And I found such a cheat code in reading that when I'm tired and can't read complicated books, I just pick up a book with little text and lots of beautiful pictures:) That's how I took off the shelf the book "Work! Best of Office Design," which offered a fascinating exploration of contemporary office design concepts from around the world. The book really came out. 2008 This year, which immediately translates it into the category of rare:) But if I don’t care about it, I was curious to see it. 40 various office design projects from around the world, where there are offices of A.T.Kearney, L'Oreal, Deloitte, Bugatti, MTV Networks, Red Bull, European Parliament, Interpol and so on. Clearly, with 2008 Many of these objects may have changed over the years, but I will talk about current trends in The Office of Good Intentions. Human rights(s) Work", which is newer and much more filled with text:) Going back to Work!’s Best of Office Design, the key theme was the evolution of office design, which traces the path from traditional office spaces to customized workspaces to open areas for teamwork and collaboration. The book explores how modern office design combines functional and technical requirements with the creation of a unique and comfortable atmosphere.
The main concepts of office spaces presented in the book: Creative use of color and light in modern offices Strict architectural structures of steel and glass Use of natural materials such as wood in the work environment Different approaches to designing areas for teamwork All of these concepts are illustrated by visually pleasing photos that are nice to just flip through.
Interestingly, the book came out in 2008 The year when the concept of the species began to gain popularity Collaborative workspaces - areas for collaboration Open-plan offices - open-plan offices Flexible work environments - flexible workspaces And now you can see these ideas when you get to work:)
In general, as a photographer, this book gave me aesthetic pleasure, although I would recommend the same "The Office of Good Intentions" to get acquainted with modern approaches to office design. Human rights(s) Work, which was published by Taschen in 2023 year.
