It is dangerous when scale, centralization, access, goals, governance, and boundaries of responsibility become part of the architecture but are treated as secondary details. In the world of Atomic Heart, it looks beautiful: science, factories, polymer, robots, a collective future. But the question you see all the time in engineering is, where is Plan B, observability, kill switch, and independent control?

It seems to me that as a separate fantastic book, this backstory will not go to everyone, but it will appeal to those who are already interested in Atomic Heart or who at least roughly understand the world of the game. It makes the world denser and clearer. After that, the Enterprise 3826 It is perceived not just as a scenery for a shooter, but as a large technological project with its own logic, ideology and architectural price. In general, if you like Atomic Heart, Soviet techno-utopia, autonomous robots and stories about how the “ideal future” is gradually turning into a system with a huge radius of failure, you can safely take this book.
