I have always liked Tanenbaum's books for their subtle humor and somewhat tedious academic presentation:) Recently, after three months of reading, I finally finished reading the third edition of Distributed Systems, which Andrew Tanenbaum wrote with Martin van Steen. I couldn’t help but write a brief review of this book:) The electronic version of the original book is available on the website of the book. (bit.ly/DistrSysBook) Anyone who wishes can get a version. There is also a Russian edition, which in theory is good ... but in practice it is not, since there are too many translation errors that make you double-check the original:)
