gemba (Category Management)

This is an interesting approach characteristic of the Japanese management practice of Kaizen, according to which for a full understanding of the situation it is considered necessary to come to the gemba - the place of the work process, collect facts and make a decision directly on the spot. This approach can give a lot of insight. I usually practice it in relation to IT activities when I dive into key business areas, design solutions, and code. But now I went to practice as a representative, who in our company interact with customers, delivering our products. I flew to Orenburg to practice, because the work of a representative in Moscow or St. Petersburg is different from work in the regions. I have to. 3 Interesting days to immerse yourself in the workflow:) I hope that at the end of their practice, I will have some insights on how to make our service even better.
