How to catch humor by the tail
This book by Elena Borshcheva, a famous squirrel from Pyatigorsk, is written in a very pleasant manner with humor and self-irony. The whole book is filled with small stories that allow the author to illustrate his approach to humor. The book contains clear rules of humor and a large number of exercises that allow them to practice. These are the rules.
- The Cambeck rule, or the rule of repetition
- Prank.
- Captain Obvious.
- His Majesty the Paradox.
- Exaggeration. (hyperbole)
- Transfer or comparison
- Arrow transfer
- The banter effect.
- Clownade.
- The rule of the model - what a joke looks like
- Rule of progression.
- The rule of contrast
- The pun rule.
In general, the book is useful and easy to read. Yesterday I started reading it before going to bed, and today I finished reading it on the way to work:)
