Business classics (Brief Guide to Business Classics)

This book by James Russell consists of reviews. 70 Books, which he chose as classics to demonstrate the development of business thinking, from antiquity to the present day. The book reviews both must read books and bestsellers, which caught the wave of hype, although they themselves were nothing. (The author frankly hides them in his reviews). Also here are the expositions of books with one cool idea, which is smeared into many pages, for example, the book by Nasim Taleb “Black Swan”. It’s cool that in this book you can get acquainted with such ideas much faster than when reading the original books.

Separately, I will note the cool style of the author, funny presentation and the ability to summarize the content of any book in 5 small pages of text.

Speaking of me, as I read, I noted that more than a third of the books I have already read, another third of the books should not be read in principle, and the rest of the books should be added to the read list:) So if you do not know what to read during the long New Year holidays, then start with this book, and then the list for reading you will begin to replenish.
