Will Larson's "Staff Engineer" StaffEng These are excellent sources of career information for engineers who have outgrown senior level and set out to conquer new seas. The book is well written and is devoted to the issue of leadership, which extends beyond the managerial track of development. This is a very important problem, since in many organizations the path of development in management is quite clear and predictable, but how to grow along the path of individual contributors for senior level is not very clear. This book gives a fairly clear idea of the path, and since this is an important topic for me, I decided to write a review in several parts. The first part of the review is available in medium.
