An interesting series came out the other day. podcast "Who You Became," in which Sasha Guzenko, my colleague and podcast host, chatted with another colleague of mine, Vitaly Myagkov, vice president and deputy director of the IT department. Vitaly in this episode told about

  • his start in Tinkoff, when it was still called Himmashbank
  • about its area of responsibility in Tinkoff, which includes control and management of IT processes (audit)
  • about import substitution on the example of leaving Slack and Zoom
  • Architecture. (RFC/ADR) How not to create duplicate services Tinkoff Software, which sells outdoor products such as Tinkoff Quality Management for voice analytics or Sage as an observability platform
  • about the product change of the company, when we moved from the functional structure to the product verticals, service lines and plateboards:)
