OpenAI Plans: Dots, Models, and New APIs

It is interesting to watch live and hear what Sam has to say about OpenAI’s plans and results.

Here are the highlights I liked:

• Dots — Jarvis-like (Astra under the hood, plus all the same connectors you have already connected)
• Chat GPT Space — a place for Dots and people to interact
• Dots will be available on ChatGPT Pro, and chatting with them will not consume usage
• Enterprise Dots will also have types that can work in certain domains (marketing, ...)
• Sol 6.1 is almost like Astra, but 5× cheaper
• Ultrafast — 8× faster at 6× the cost
• Pro $500, Pro $200, Pro $100 (while the limits for Pro $200 shrink at the same time)
• Decision API for quick decisions :)
• AI Research Intern
• Codex Harness in the cloud (and Codex Security Cloud)
• Agents API (+ Computer Use)
• OpenAI Private Intelligence (ZDR, zero data retention)
• Partner Apps — subscription tokens that can also be used in other applications
• Plugin extensions — build apps directly in ChatGPT
• OpenAI Marketplace
