This book by Sergey Mishin, published in 2006 year, I read 15 Years ago, she helped me a lot with project management. The point is that in this book the author, in addition to practical advice, also explains why it is worth doing this. For example, in post The Critical Chain I Talked About WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) And the law of large numbers - this is what I learned from Mishin's book. In addition, the author in the first part of his book talks about the myths of project management, the general model of project business, aspects of general management, positioning issues, the system and hierarchy of project business models, products, resources, project environment and management subjects. Here the author makes some comparison of IPMA and PMI models. (However, the versions that the author compares are already very outdated.). In the second part of the book, the author gives his version of the minimum model that is required to introduce the practice of project business in the company: Auditing the current system

  • introduction of the minimal model proposed by the author, including the standards, forms and methodological recommendations developed by him, which can and should be adjusted to the business of the company.

Total: The book is really good and relevant for the most part so far. The pfg book is available on the author’s personal website
