Roulette cases: Examples of poor architecture (Category Architecture)
Appeared. record Discussions from the last submarine, where I came to talk about bad architecture with the organizers, as well as Ilya Zonov and Kirill Vetchinkin. The discussion was intense and we discussed the issues.
- What is architecture? When it can be considered bad and when it is good (The key here was the willingness to change. n) What is universal architecture and does it exist? (~~no~~)? Is there anything beyond hype terms and approaches? (CQRS, GraphQL, Microservices)? How to work with the database and do we need ORM or do we need a repository pattern? How easy is it to migrate from one base to another? Do you need standards and when do they get in the way? How open source emerges in companies and how sometimes building your own tools can be more profitable than using ready-made solutions.
The whole discussion was flavored with a good portion of stories and examples that allowed the discussion not to slide into abstraction, but to stay on the ground:)
