Immediately after Goldratt's production novels, it is worth reading this book by William Detmer - it outlines in a structured form the ideas that Goldratt himself pitched through his stories. The book begins with the introduction of limitations into the theory, and then goes the basis on formal logic, namely, what is called the Criteria for testing logical constructions. Next, the reader gets acquainted with the trees of current and future reality, although between them in the book lies a diagram of conflict resolution:) a connects them to a transition tree:) Then the transition tree is transformed by a magical movement of the hand into a plan of transformation. And the book is finalized by group dynamics using Goldratt’s method of reasoning.

P.S. I like the practical exercises on the last pages of the book, placed in the applications. I especially liked the app. 5It is proposed to build a tree of future reality based on the decision to marry:) It's funny how this practical exercise could help many people, not just Goldratt's limitation theorists:)
