In the lectures on systems thinking in the framework of the MBA, we recalled the book by Daniel Kahneman “Thniking, Fast and Slow”, which was translated as “Think slowly ... Decide quickly”. (as they say, find 5 difference). He is a Nobel laureate and one of the founders of behavioral economics. These regalia did not prevent the author from writing an excellent popular science book with interesting and accessible content:) In general, the topic of the book is extremely interesting, since the model of a rational agent in some situations is extremely far from the real behavior of real people. The book consists of the following parts: 1) Two systems In this article, the author describes these systems. 1 (fast) system 2 (slow)Which gave the book its title:) 2) Methods of heuristics and distortion In this part, the author talks about how a fast system gets results quickly due to evistics and what distortions appear as a result. 3) Overconfidence - Here comes the WYSIATI rule. (What you see is all that is) The experts are discussed with their intuitions, as well as illusions of significance and illusions of understanding. 4) Choice A very interesting part about how people make choices. It is at this point that the difference between rational and real people is actively discussed, as well as probability theory.) **5) Two.**In this part, the author talks about the perceiving self and the remembering self. It’s funny that these are different halves of the same whole, but the difference in their perception of reality leads to certain distortions. n

Plus, there is a separate chapter with conclusions, which contains in fifteen pages the very essence of what was previously set out in five hundred:) The book is excellent and I recommend it to everyone.
