Trableshooting. How to solve unsolvable problems, looking at the problem from the other side (Category Management)

I recently read a postbook about treadshooting from Sergey Faer, which actually turned out to be a teaser of the TRIZ system. (||plus a large share of the author's self-promotion||). The book was originally from the mid-2010s, but I bought a reissue. 2025 years. The author is a long-time adept of TRIZ, and he applies this theory in the non-technical sphere, since the early 90s, advising companies of different scales, for example, on election campaigns. (||Part of the story level of the film "Election Day"||). As Sergey Faer himself points out, among his clients were also such large corporations as Gazprom Neft, SIBUR, RUSAL, ALROSA, Rosatom, Sberbank, VTB24 and many others.

Let me tell you a little bit about the key ideas:

1. TRIZ and business TRIZ was created by inventor Heinrich Altshuller and his followers to solve technical problems, but Faer showed how these tools can be applied in business, management, marketing and other fields.

When it comes to limitations of applicability, It seems to me that the material of the book is not enough for independent mastering of methodology. (You should read "Find an Idea." Introduction to TRIZ - Theory of Solving Inventive Problems, about which I told)

• The book reminds me of "author's advertising" in some places. (I especially like the self-interview of the author.) Not all examples are relevant to modern conditions. (Elective mechanics of the early 2000s remained in the early 2000s)

In general, the book is easy to read and fun, but contains references to complex topics, so it is not an easy read. But it's great for the Pocketbook format you can read on the way to work.
