As a child, I loved to read, as I do now. My parents had many books, many of which I read.

And one day I came across a book by Howard Lovecraft, and that's how I realized that horror wasn't my thing. After, 25 I was given a board game called Arkham Horrors, and I remembered Lovecraft and became interested in him as a person. A year ago, I bought his biography in The Writer in the Night. From this book I learned that the life of the author of classic horror stories about Cthulhu and others was not too happy. He was a contradictory person, with a lot of scary habits and ideas. He died of cancer before he died. 50He never received the recognition he deserved during his lifetime. But the myths created by him replenished the golden fund of horror and fantasy, and also formed a separate subgenre of Lovecraftian horrors:)

P.S. I recommend both this book and this game - the book will explain how Howard invented it all, and the game will allow you and your team of friends to prevent Lovecraftian demons from entering our world:)
