I read Kevin Ashton’s book How to Teach a Horse to Fly. A secret history of creativity, invention and discovery, and I loved it. The author is a British engineer who contributed to the standardization of RFID technology. He was the first to coin the term Internet of Things. (IoT) And I did a few startups on the subject. In this book, he addresses the question of creativity and debunks the myth that it is only available to select geniuses. The basic message is that this creativity is available to many, but it’s a hell of a job that takes a lot of time and effort. Therefore, many people expect the insight with which a brilliant thought or idea of a work will come to them, although you just need to sit down and write:)
