Today is my anniversary at T-Bank. 8 years:) That's how many years ago I came to Tinkoff. I came from Banki.ru, where I was the lead of the development team that was responsible for ratings of banks, insurance and the rest of UGC. (user generated content), as well as lead-generating pages:) In Tinkoff, I took the position of engineering manager to deal with attracting projects. The plans at the start were Napoleonic and they really drove me. It was a period of growth and my area of responsibility was constantly changing. I felt like more than just an engineering manager, but rather a manager of continuous change with the motto “reassemble yourself and your team or die.” But as soon as I faced a new challenge, I got another one. This happened about every one and a half to two years. Many of these changes have been discussed by YaTalks last year and transcription This talk. Since then, I have assembled a dream team of executives who are responsible for individual large divisions in the United States. 200-300 man
- Client interfaces: Web platform commands, mobiles and APIs
- Marketing technologies: external advertising, marketing platform - Social media platforms: social networks, media platform, media projects (TJ, Business secrets)games - Digital ecosystems: authentication/authorization, biometrics, home page of the application, financial health
I also have a product that is important to me in the form of a product analytics and a/b platform. It's important for a company to be data-driven, and for me it's an opportunity to close the gestalt on math. (theoretical, mathematical)Which I loved all the way from lyceum to physique and beyond:) I'm also responsible for architecture as a function in the company. This is close to me as a technician for whom engineering excellence and design of cool systems are important.
Finally, I wanted to say thank you to the guys from my Customer Interfaces, Marketing and Engagement unit. The guys are doing all the work that brings joy to our customers, the money of the company, and allows me to talk about it. By the way, I recorded interviews with some of the guys.

Andrey manages product analytics and a/b platform.
I think we’re not going to stop there and we’re going to make a cooler product and talk about how we do it.)
P.S. Anyway, 8 Years are a long time that can be celebrated. Especially considering that I’m not sure I’ll “live” until the next round anniversary in binary:)
