Facility 4 - Lesson. 6 "I'm waiting for the muse, and she never comes. Expert: Larisa Parfentieva
Continuing a series of posts about your book writing training (See previous posts: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5)I'll talk about lesson six. It was about finding inspiration. It was a practical exercise. Larisa Parfentieva - the author of the best-selling Mytha with a lot of regalia.
It was very interesting and I remember the following moments. Most authors suffer from impostor sinjroma and it is important to work with them. The syndrome blocks us using two strategies: perfectionism and procrastination. It’s important to know about perfectionism what to do. 100% will not work out perfectly, so you need to be ready to classify a book that you are not satisfied with at all 100%:) And procrastination can be defeated using time management - you need to protect your time and space to have time to concentrate on the creative process and fall into a state of flow. To stimulate writing, you can stimulate your feelings through taste. (Drink coffee, eat chocolate, etc.) during the creative process. You can go for walks to spin ideas in your head. In general, you need to schedule the time to write the book and how it will be distributed throughout the day / week. Plus, in order to write a book, you need to give up something and unload your schedule:)
