In this episode We discussed the role and tasks of SRE engineers on the example of the career of Salikh Fakhrutdinov, Chief Reliability Engineer at T-Bank’s Origination Business Platform. Salih’s team is responsible for the reliability of new product discovery processes, supports multiple services, and actively implements a shift left reliability approach. Salih shared his experience: from the first steps in programming to the role of chief engineer, spoke about the transitions between companies, the development of architectural processes and work with infrastructure. Also discussed were team management, developer duty, motivation for improvements, and the importance of redundancy in improving systems reliability.
