Moreover, students need not only to learn to write, but also to be able to search for facts, discuss their ideas at seminars and listen carefully to lectures. And then the thesis is put forward that the right educational process is research and if you learn as effectively as possible, you can accelerate the transition to the moment when there are questions that have not yet been answered and about which it is worth writing scientific papers:) 6) Simplicity above all else In this chapter, the author talks about containers and container ships that have advanced shipping, and then compares the notebook transport container of the world of science. It reminds the owner of ideas that were once formulated by him, but then forgotten. To manifest a positive effect, a critical mass of notes should accumulate in the box, which are of three types: Everyday notes - a reminder of the information, their TTL (time to live) pair Persistent notes - TTL - ∞, they contain the necessary information in a constantly available form Notes for the project - notes for a specific project, after the end of the project they can turn into permanent notes or go to /dev/null It is important to understand the difference between notes of different types and use them in suitable scenarios. 7) No one ever starts from scratch. The main idea is that if you keep notes on topics of interest, then at the start of a new project there will always be materials from which you can start. Therefore, writing scientific papers, articles, books is not a linear process, but this does not mean that it is chaotic. On the contrary, a clear and clear structure is important. Let your work lead you forward. Here, the author talks about a feedback loop that can disrupt all endeavors. (If you fall into a loop of broken deadlines)and build the foundation of your achievements. (If you can create a pleasant, repetitive writing experience). In general, a growth mindset is important when we want to be the best version of ourselves. And the second part is a learning system, which allows you to create a positive feedback loop in practice. And this is what Zettelkasten's note-taking system is, because when we take notes, we see how our knowledge grows, and so does the contents of this box:)
