Map of the world (Stories column)

My wife had another birthday last December and I was thinking about a gift. Today, the gift finally reached the target state on the kitchen wall:) And that was it.

My gloomy genius in December decided to present a map of the world in the form of a layered puzzle of wood of different colors, as my wife likes to travel. The school of thought was about such that, looking at the map, you can plan new trips or remember those that have already been. But when I presented the gift, I did not see enthusiasm in my eyes and was explained that planning is not fun, but fun in traveling to a new country, chatting with new people and visiting a warm climate. As you can understand, none of this wooden map two and a half meters on the wall does not give. So I put off collecting the map until we back from Sri Lanka. In January, I collected it for a couple of three evenings and postponed it because my youngest son and I were together. hospitalized. When I got out, I decided to finally hang the map on the wall, but had to endure the battle with my wife and free the kitchen wall from the big round clocks to begin with. Then I took double-sided scotch from the kit that came with the set and pasted it on everything. 50+ parts and calm down... We went with the children to the theater or the cinema, and when we returned, all the elements of the map were on the floor - double-sided tape could not withstand. I had to collect all the parts of the map, separately noticing the departed elements, and then fix them. Then we ordered a proven powerful Scotch and only last night I re-painted the map on the wall and presented it to my wife saying that it is a very expensive gift, considering how much I put into it. I also showed that I could work with my hands. gift from Leman Tech I didn't use it at all.)
